Abstract

After an introduction on the concept of human security in modern society, the paper analyses in a comprehensive and profound way the underlying causes of the war, the ethnic and religious conflicts leading to food insecurity, the risk of natural resource barrenness and energy shortages etc... in South-East Asia. It also examines a variety of pollution risks of the natural and social environment in Vietnam and proposes as a necessity the design of a sustainable long term basis development strategy.
