Abstract

Hydrochemistry is one professional field of hydrogeology, one of it's concerned contents is geochemical zoning rules of groundwater systems. In areas where groundwater quality changes in time and space, study on geochemical zoning is the most concerned issue in assessment of groundwater reverses. This article identifies types of typical geochemical zoning in Hochiminh city and surrounding areas using available data, based on these preminary assessment of groundwater abstraction potential in areas related to each kind of geochemical zone.
