Abstract

In assessing the changes of the soil quality, it is necessary to survey the ground; however, this is not easy to carry out with all types of topography, especially in the estuarine areas, like Can Gio. Therefore, to look for a supporting method that is more comfortable and economical in the monitoring, vegetation indicator is suggested as an indirected parameter that indicates the ground environment. So it would be, with the help of Remote sensing data and GIS tool, applied as a tool of monitoring. The paper presents the patern of data processing and, as a result, it proposes the scheme of detecting the changes happened in the soils through the changes of land cover.
