Abstract

The article mentioned some characteristics of the vocational training in HCM city and the results of the survey of professional and vocational teachers in 37 training centres and schools in HCM city in the period from 1993 to 1998. Basing on reliable information, the authors have the remarks and valuation on both the quantity and the quality of professional and vocational teachers making the conditions for the research of solutions to improve their ability meeting the requirements for the city industrialization and modernization.
