Abstract

Efficiencies of the release of superoxide dismutase (SOD) und protein from bakers' yeast cells by the cell-disruption of agituting bead mill, high pressure homogenizer and the cell lysis of acetate ethyl, ulkali solution were investigated on the fructivul activity values of SOD. The same efficiencies of Cu, Zn-SOD release can be attained by the optimal conditions of these disruption methods. Beside that, the combination of akali treatment and mechanical disruption was also realized that, showed it is in uvailu:ble method can enhance highly the efficiency of cell disruption and SOD release. The lysis method of acetate ethyl extracted a insignificant amount of Mn-SOD and a small amount of nucleic acid, that is advantage to purify Cu, Zn-SOD.
