Abstract

Air duct is one of the most important parts of the air conditioning systems. A good design of air duct can reduce not only the first cost, but also the operating cost of the system. However, the published design methods have not yet been able to reach the needed technical requirements. Regardless of the method, the last work that we do need is to adjust the total pressure loss to get the required air flow rate in each duct branch. It is not considered as an easy task. Paying attention to this disadvantage, the article would propose a more suitable method which could solve this problem.
