Abstract

Vietnamese economic structure in the recent years has changed in the direction of industrialization and modernization of the country. The particularly important changes have occurred in the structure of the gross domestic product (GDP) and labour structure. The common trend of these changes is the increase of the value of output and labour structure in the fields of services and industries corresponding to the decrease of these two factors in the domains of agriculture, forestry and fishering. Nevertheless, these changes are not the same all over the country. Fast changes have occurred in cities and deltas, slow changes in under-developed mountain regions. Effort for fast and equal development in every region is the social-economic development task of our country in the coming time.
