Abstract

The paper presents a numerable and experimental study of evaporative cooling systems using liquid desiccants, especially focusing on two mains equipment of the systems including the dehumidifier and regenerator. A simulation program for evaporative cooling systems using liquid desiccants has been written based on the numerable study of this research. The results of the numerable and experimental study are very comparative, proving that the simulation program can be used to simulate the evaporative cooling systems using liquid desiccants in order to analyze the feasibility of these systems in Vietnam for energy conservation purposes.
