Abstract

Spiritual Tourism is a new development trend of tourism in many countries nowadays. Developing spiritual tourism not only brings socio-economic efficiency, creates jobs, improves literacy levels but also preserves and promotes many cultural-belief values of local community. An Giang, known as one of the most interesting destinations of MeKong Delta, has many beautiful scenes, historical monuments, especially many religious places. Therefore, this is the key to take advantage of tourism resources in An Giang. However, developing spiritual tourism here is not as well as its own potential. In this paper, we want to list some problems that local community has to deal with; then, giving some tips for the development of An Giang’s spiritual tourism.
