Abstract

This report estimates parameters of 2-D scattering centers (locations, magnitude, phase) by using the Prony model and simulates dynamic aircraft signatures. The simulated aircraft is C-29 transport aircraft. A radar is mono-static radar. The first, scattering model and 2-D damped exponentials model are researched. Scattering parameters are then estimated by Prony model. Those parameters are simulation inputs. Outputs of this simulation are the scattered electric field, the Doppler shift, and the angular tracking error, or glint, all as seen by the radar. The purpose of this research is a recognition, identity method of target, as well as it is a tool for testing stealthy models.
