Abstract

The analysis of 3D slope stability plays an important role for slope engineering. In this work, the boundary element method is presented and applied to analyse the stability of 3D slope with the safety factor. Results of applied problem, which obtained from our BEM3DSLOP program, are compared with those given by classical method showing its confidence, potential and promise in the stability analysis of actual slopes subjected to 3D conditions
