Abstract

The Finite Element Method is a powerful tool in solving the complicated geometry or boundary condition problems. In this paper, a composite four-node quadrilateral element is presented in case of in-plane loads. This element is used in a program to calculate the unidirectional fibre reinforced polymer plates. The results agree well with analytical ones.
