Abstract

The war was over. Gia Long as the winner became the king dominating a large country and confronted with historical inheritance. The country was devastated by consecutive civil wars, and people felt unequable after the war. Therefore, expectations such as winning hearts, healing the nation’s sentiments lost for such a long time, getting back people's trust (especially for Bac Ha officialism) in a new regime were great responsibilities that Gia Long King had to hold.
