Abstract

This paper explores and discusses various popular definitions of religion offered by some well-known scholars and theologians ranging from Tillich to Barth to reach a two-fold purpose: correcting some misrepresentations of religion and pointing out various dimensions of religion that would be amenable to further academic researches in Vietnam.
