Abstract

The study of steel anticorrosion in concrete in tidal zone was performed in the laboratory with a model using sodium chloride solution with 10 % and 20% concentrations. We applied different metal protection methods including treatment of concrete environment, and treatment of rebars such as epoxy coating and electrochemical protection. Evaluation methods of the corrosion include stress test (TCVN 1824-1993) and polarization resistance measurement (ASTM G59-97 (2003)). The obtained results can be used to find the suitable solutions of corrosion protection for concrete in tidal zone.
