Abstract

Simple 3-phase 4-switch voltage source inverter can be utilised in practice for small power performance applications. For this topology, the paper presents a novel and flexible carrier-based PWM control method, which is valid even for linear overmodulation. The proposed method is mathematically analyzed and verified by experimental results using control DSP card DS1104 and low power modul IRAMX2OUP60A.
