Abstract
The Software Defined Radio (SDR) or called Radio (SR) has begun to appear in the early 1980s for military use. Later, the SDR has been developed for civil purposes. This research work describes basic fundamental structure of Software Defined Radio and implements it on model of AM receiver with FPGA kit.
