Abstract

Nowadays, the groundwater level in HoСhiMinh city area drops continuously due to the over exploitation of groundwater. This consequently results in the state of stress change, the land subsidence, deformation of buildings... This paper studies the mechanism of land subsidence due to the groundwater withdrawal in Hiep Binh Phuoc industrial zone - Thu Duc district - Ho Chi Minh city.
