Abstract

In this study, we would like to present a new method for preparing oximes from aldehydes and ketones with hydroxylamine. The reactions occurred in stoichiometric quantity and were activated by ultrasound. The results reflected the theory of the nucleophilic addition into the carbonyl double bond. The yields are higher and the reaction times are shorter than conventional stirring methods.
