Abstract

This paper performs Fuzzy Logic Control in controlling semi-actively MR Damper in civil structures. This algorithm is compared with another modern one, that is Clipped-Optimal Control. With this algorithm, the research does not use LOG Optimal Control as done by Spencer (1996a). Instead, classical LQR Optimal Control is employed. The tool for the research is Simulink and Fuzzy Logic Control Tool in Matlab Progamming Software.
