Abstract

HoChiMinh city is processing the project: "HoChiMinh City Geographic Information System - HCM GIS" to support for the reform in administration and urban management. This paper provides GIS concepts, Space-DBMS, GIS topoeditor tools, which can tranform notopo-data to topo-data. This software has visual, friendly nice interface, and can be used to HCM GIS Center. In addition GIS topo-data are used to optimize some problems such as water service systems, road traffic systems in HCM city...) to help HCM GIS to serve various necessary demands of HCM city.
