Abstract

This paper presents the three-parameters model of Kishi-Chen that describes simply and exactly the moment-rotation relationship of semi-rigid connections. From that, by using MATLAB, a three-parameters extimating program was realized. Two examples were used to illustrate the program. The output data will be used in the Plane steel frame analysis with semi-rigid connections program at Part 2 of this paper.
