Abstract

We study the band gap renormalization (BGR) of phtoexcited quantum-well wires (QWWs) including the Coulomb interaction and carrier-LO phonon interaction. Nu merial results for GaAs CWW within the quasi static show that the infuence of the carrier phonon interaction on the BGR is rather small.
