INFLUENCE OF INITIAL CURVARTURE ON THE NONLINEAR ESPONE OF A PARAMETRICALLY-EXCITED RECTANGULAR LATE

Abstract

This paper describes the possible respone of a rectangular plate with initial imperfections subjected to the action of in-plane loads. Experiment and estimated theoretical results are presented. Some physical aspects of the problem sush as jump and drop-out phenomena are clearly explained.
