Abstract

A physic model on the mechanism of the soot production in the Diesel chamber is proposed. This model is based on the studies on the structure, composition and toxicology of soot in the Diesel smoke. The mathematics model of soot formation is also established logically in accordance with the turbulent diffusion combustion Diesel nature. The results agree well with the experimental data obtained in a direct injection engine.
