Abstract

The wind generation causes some troubles on the stability of power network. Observing the critical clearing time of circuit breaker with existence of wind generation, one conclusion about the degrading of stability will be drawn. The location and the penetration level of this generation are also considered in this paper. The 14 buses IEEE network is examined with the soft ware PSAT.
