Abstract

The Initial form finding is one of the most important things in modeling and computing the pretension membrane structures. In this paper, the form finding will be performed based on a model in which the membrane is considered as an uncompressed truss system. The equilibrium equations at nodes will be etablished by using the force density method. Owning to that, the form finding is easier and more efficient.
