Abstract

The paper presents the results of initial research on the possibilities for reusing industrial wastes, especially the industrial hazardous wastes, as alternative fuels for incineration in the cement kiln in VietNam. First, some research tendencies worldwide are summarized, then the prequisites for materials which could be used as altenative fuels are analysed. The next part of the paper presents the results from the experimental study on the incineration of oil/grease waste, and the paper is ended by proposing the perspectives of further research on this topic.
