The Gò Cát landfill in operation that has caused the several negative affects to human health and environment of the surrounding areas as the bad odours, fly and bluebottle, the consequences of the leachate ... The objective of this study is testing to apply the environmental risk assessment methodologies in the literature into the Vietnamese conditions, especially for the Gò Cát landfill, Ho Chi Minh city, to provide the basis for environmental risk management. After characterized the site, report has identified hazard sources, dose-response assessment and exposure assessment and risk characterization to perform the basis for environmental risk management of Gò Cát landfill.
