Abstract
It has become knowledge that information is crucial to businesses. Yet there is a reality one can easily see that not all organizations have enough resources and capabilities to gain access to the desired information, particularly small enterprises. On the other hand information centers and training institutions are not all aware of this demand though they have a wide variety of products to offer to businesses. To help resolve this paradox an information network model has been suggested in the paper. This network aims to link up the suppliers of information and training programs and the business units that demand them. Among other components of the model stands out an intermediary unit as the main active catalyst for the whole process. This unit will conduct regular surveys in order to point out specific demands of businesses, to know “who needs what”, and look around in the market to see “who has what” so as to match demand with supply. Such an operational model is the aim of this article.
