Abstract

The superconductors with s- and d-wave pairing symmetries are studied by the Langevin dynamics simulations. The current amplitude dependence of nonlinear resistivity at the peak position is found to be a power law: P2(1.) 1.". The pronounced difference between s- and d-wave superconductors is clearly seen in the strong current and weak screening regime where the value of a for d-wave superconductors is higher than that for the s-wave systems. This difference may be considered as a criteria for discrimination between superconductors with s- and d-wave pairing symmetries.
