Abstract

Vietnam is in the process of renovating in the direction of market economy - socialism oriented. Our main task in the first decades of the 214 century is to industrialize and modernize the country. Vietnam higher education is assigned a very important task: to train and to produce human resource that has bachelor degree or higher, skillful, qualified, able to apply advanced science and technology in solving problems to satisfy the needs of country development. In order to develop high quality, to narrow the gap in higher education between Vietnam and regional countries and the world, as well as to supply skilled human resources for meeting the country's demand, the issue of teacher education must be paid enough care. Some solutions for improving quality of university's staff are proposed.
