Abstract

By applying the positron trapping model (PTM) without detrapping effect, the formation energy of monovacancy in metal Cu is caculated 1,28 ev. If the positron trapping model (PTM) with detrapping effect is used then the formation energy of monovacancy in metal Cu is 0,76ev. With these formation energies the ratios of concetration monovacancyin metal Cu with and without detrapping are caculated. From the results are estimated we conculate that at hight temperature the detrapping effect is not neglible.
