Abstract

It is the beginning of the DACUM concept in the late 1960s with the work done by Robert E. Adams for Nova Scotia Newstart, the work of Larry Coffin and others at Holland College (Canada), and the work by Robert E. Norton and others at the National Center for Research in Vocational Education (USA). Seven DACUM facilitators of Viet Nam have introduced the DACUM process to their country. The DACUM charts are providing the foundations for new curricula that will be used in the many vocational training centers of the country.
