Abstract

Folk religion was the most important cultural agent in the process of intergrating other religions into the kingdom of Champa: The Ba Hai religion of India became Ba Cham, Ba Ni is a combination of the Moslem religion and folk religions. This process resulted in the alien culture being received and adapted to the strong local traditional culture.
