Abstract

In the lastest years researching idioms with animals components has been taken from different points of views as linguistics and culturology. However, researching idioms with unreal animals components has been little, almost nothing. In English language only author Phun Van Que researches idioms with animal components, and in Vietnamese und Russian languages this problem is almost open. Unreal animals hus no existence in reality. There are a lot of unreal unimals such as ghost, devil, monsier, dragon etc. In this paper we only research two unreal unimals images of idioms us ghost und devil. Vietnamese idioms meanings concentrate on describing mun's appearance as ugly, durty ones. Besides they concentrate on desribing man's activities that indicate evil omens, fur place and deep forest, poisonuous climate. English idioms menaings indicate man's churacters us always making mischielf, as very casual carefree attitude, u different task. Russiun idioms meunings indicate disagreement, doubt, being ironical, surprice... We compare their symbolization and find the similar features between the three cultures of Vietnam, England und Russia. When we touch upon two unreal images of ghost und devil, there are a lot of interesting problems, allowed to continue researching all-sidedly the rest unreal unimals components./.
