Abstract

Digital image processing has a broad spectrum of applications, such as remote sensing via satellites and other spaceserafts, image transmission and storage for business applications, nudical processing, radar, sonar and acoustic image processing, robotics and automated in spection of industrial parts. Noise filter includes gray level and contrast manipulation, noise reproduction, edge crispening and sharpening, filetering, interpolation and magnification, pseudocoloring, and so on. In this article we only mention image restoration and image enhancement (noise smoothing, median filtering, low-pass, bandpass, high-pass filtering, edge detector)
