Abstract

Translation was born and has developed hand in hand with the development of mankind. However, just for the past few decades has the translation theory appeared. The development of the translation theory plays an important role in the birth and development of the adaptation theory because adaptation is considered a form of the intersemiotic translation. The issue of equivalence in differences given by the translation theory was effectively applied to explain for the differences of the adapted works when the previous materials were reset in the new context.
