Abstract

Oscilloscope is a very important and popular measuring instrument for electronics and many other fields. It displays the waveform and various characteristics of signals. There are two kinds of oscilloscope: analog and digital. Digital oscilloscope is superior to analog one but is not as popular because of its higher cost. This paper presents the conversion of a PC into a two-channel digital oscilloscope, consisting of hardware which is a self-designed data acquision card, and the software which is a set of various programs written in Visual C++.
