Abstract

This paper presents the urgent water environmental problems in the Dongnai river system basin, identifies and preliminarily assess the main pollution sources in the Dongnai river system basin, builds and applies the criteria of classification and assessment of pollution sources in the Dongnai river system basin. The later part of this paper presents the main ideas to develop the strategy of the integrated pollution source management in the Dongnai river system basin towards sustainable development in the whole basin.
