Abstract

In Hochiminh City, Can Gio district is a unique area having mangrove forests with a complex river network, characteristing for tropical river mouth. This area is capable to develop into an important tourism ecological town. Tourism becomes the most important factor to develop local socio-economy to raise life level and knowledge of the low income district of Hochiminh City. Of course, to develop sustainable tourism industry here, we should invest in environmental protection activities (this report is limited only in wastewater and solid waste domain).
