Abstract

In recent years the closed cage carbon clusters fullerenes (C60) are interest in because of their remarkable physical chemical properties. The fullerene, C60 will be a superconductor when it is intercalated with simple elements in the solid system. Here we present the micro-Raman spectra of the pure C60 and of the C60 intercalated by mecuric iodide. The intercalation is determined by comparision of these spectra.
