Abstract

Marxist theory on “socio-economic form” regards social life as a live organ which has dialectic uniformity between productive forces and relations, as well as infrastructure and suprastructure. The social existence and development depend upon their mutual effects, where the productive forces, finally analyzing, are the deep root and internal dynamic of the whole social life. Our country's cause of đổi mới (renovation) aims at building a new socio-economic form with “modern material and technical base, proper economic structure, advanced productive relations in line with the development of the productive forces, high living standard, firm security, rich people, strong nation, and equal and civilized society". To do this, on the one hand, we have to speed up our national industrialization and modernization so as to create modern productive forces, on the other hand, soon set up a multisecroral economy in the socialist orientation with the aim to establish approriate productive forces..... Meanwhile, we should make our culture advanced, modern and full of Vietnam's identity with a view to helping erect the new society's scientific and advanced suprastructure
